• Secure boot protects system from malware or virus on boot-up
• Trusted Platform Module (TPM) manages the printer’s own TLS/SSL certificates and keys
• Connection and data sent between software and printer is encrypted
• Customer data is encrypted and is not stored in the printer after printing is complete
• Luster printing and other security features added to cards protect from tampering and counterfeiting

The intuitive printer dashboard lets you see printer status, order supplies, check cleaning status, update firmware, or contact help – all from your mobile device. Seamless self-service lets you access how-to videos and other helpful resources by simply scanning QR code on the LCD display. Optional pre-loaded ribbon cassettes make switching ribbons easy. The Sigma Series have an innovative patented printhead protector feature shields the printhead during ribbon replacement or printer servicing, which helps to extend the printhead life. This enables you to easily fix the issue at hand without having to worry about damaging the printhead.

This printer includes a 1 year Depot Maintenance Warranty and unlimited online/telephone technical support valued at $499+. In addition, Entrust Sigma DS2 Printers have an outstanding 3 year parts warranty which includes printhead. After the first year, an onsite or depot maintenance agreement will be available for a reduced price reflecting the parts warranty. However, if you chose not to accept a maintenance agreement at the end of the first year, the printer is still covered by the parts warranty for a total of 3 years. For Businesses located in North & South Carolina, you can convert the 1st year Depot Warranty to an Onsite Warranty on this printer for $450.00 After the first year, an onsite or depot maintenance agreement will be available for a reduced price reflecting the parts warranty.
